Video Portraits are moving images that seek to capture the essence of individuals in a pose, in motion, in a feeling, or in thought. Inspired by the beauty of Black people while traveling across the states in 2014, I began to take video portraits in New York, Philadelphia, Memphis, Tuskegee, and Portland.
